Describe a time when you heard a stranger talking over the phone

well, listening to others conversations is not a hone good habit especially when they are over the phone but people these days frequently use their mobile phones at public places like parks, buses, trains, banks and so on, so eavesdropping on their conversations is almost unavoidable. here, I would like to talk about an instance when I overheard the phone conversation of a stranger while traveling by bus. last month, I was traveling to Delhi by bus, a person in his thirties boarded the same bus from one of the stations and sat next to me. he appeared a little anxious and restless .he was looking at his watch again and again and it seemed like he was in a hurry to reach his destination. after ten minutes his phone rang and he hurriedly picked it up as if he was expecting a call and he asked the person at the other end what the situation was and after hearing the reply he almost jumped out of the seat with excitement. he brakes into a broad smile and then he started bombarding the other ...

Stores should sell local food products and not the imported food products. Do you agree or disagree?

The shelves in the supermarkets across the world sell international food products, which might be ready to eat foods, the raw ingredients or veggies and fruits. A few Commoners, however, argue that stores should only sell indigenous varieties of food thus restricting their imports and also controlling prices. To Reckons with, I sternly condemn this idea as it would unfold plentiful downsides of it. As the world is slowly shrinking into a global unit, people are migrating from one part of the world to other and availability of the foods of their taste harmonises their adaptability to new environs. If an American get Avocado and a Chinese finds range of noodles in Australia it is not only preserving their right to make choices but enabling them to lead their right foreign life happily. Though these imports might be expensive yet it strengthens trade ties with other nations and offer a plate of variety to its natives as well. However, this must not be taken as a setback to demand for loca...

Describe a public holiday celebrated in your country? When it is celebrated? Why it is celebrated? What people do on that day? What you do on that day

There are so many public holidays celebrated in my country but here I would like to talk about a special holiday and we celebrates it with great fervour and enthusiasm, which is  independence day. This day is celebrated on 15th of August. This day is most auspicious day in the history of India. This is the day when the chain of slavery was broken as under after hundreds of years of foreign rule. Independence day is celebrated in every state in India and twenty - one gunshots are fired in honour of the solemn occasion. On this day Prime Minister raises the national flag on Red Fort in Delhi and gives an address to the nation. Moreover, on that day parades and cultural events take place in Red Fort by the students from different parts of the country. I like everything about it and it is the great day to remember the supreme sacrifices  of great leaders and freedom fighters. I celebrate this day by hoisting our national flag in our house and then attend the national parade in the...

Describe a time when you showed or taught a young person how to do a thing. Who was  the person? What did you teach him? How was the experience?

Actually, I'm a keen learner of new things but at the same time I never miss an opportunity to teach others as well, because learning and teaching is the part of life. Here I would like to talk about such a occasion. It was about 10 months ago my friend Mohit got admission in 'Mumbai University'. He is going to join a degree there, so he will stay there for 3 years. Unfortunately he doesn't know how to cook. In my eyes one can not afford to eat outside everyday. So I decided to help him as I can cook very well. I taught him five important cuisines which will help him there. Moreover, they are not very time consuming and the ingredients are easily available there. After teaching him, I started having the pride of being vikas khanna. My week long cooking classes help him self dependent and self sufficient. He keeps on sending pic on whatsapp of whatever he cooks. I think he is become a perfect cook now. I loved sharing my knowledge with mohit. This help wasn't out of o...

Well, I have visited many cities in my country but jaipur is my favourite city among the cities which I have visited so far. I went there during my last summer vacations with my family and we stayed there for 5 days and enjoyed a lot. I was quiet impressed by the way the city looked. Jaipur has many attractive Forts, Museums and historical monuments. The city attract a large number of tourists because of its environment, pleasant weather and beautiful lake. The main attraction of the city is 'Amer Fort'. It is located approx 7 miles from jaipur and located high on a hill. In addition to this, 'Amer Fort' is known for its artistic style with its large ramparts and series of gates. The palace was the residence of Rajput kings and their families. Moreover, I found special about this city is the nature of people. People are very welcoming and friendly a tourist can get necessary help from the local people. I enjoyed the folk dance and folk music. Apart from this, I tried th...
