Talk about a subject you did not like when you were at school but now you find interesting ?

during our school life, we study a plethora of subjects .some of these subjects are really interesting while some subjects are not of interest. in my school life, I enjoyed studying almost all subjects but history was a difficult subject for me till the 8th class. history is a very important subject which is introduced early years of schooling it is taught as the compulsory school subject. I had no interest in history in my early year of schooling because I found it really boring. I could not understand why we were made to study about so many different eras, battles and dates. I can vividly remember feeling drowsy in that period and getting scolded by the teacher, but when I got enrolled in 9th class a new history teacher joined our school .she was a very kind and polite teacher, her way of teaching was very interesting .she used to teach the history lessons in a very interesting manner. she always created interest in the classroom through interesting discussions. she used to tell us fascinating stories and she related these stories very well and soon history became my favorite subject.it all had happened because of my history teacher who helped us to understand this subject in a more practical way. I stopped focusing on memorising and cramming the concept. I started reading different texts and articles related to history .now I can say that history is an important subject from this subject I came to know about our culture, custom, rituals and traditions.
