well, my country India has a remarkable and glorious history and thousands of historical monuments represent it, but here I would like to talk about taj Mahal

. this building is world-famous being the seventh wonder of the world and millions of tourists from different parts of the world visit taj every year to observe its beauty. taj Mahal is located in the city of Agra a few hundred kilometers from the national capital New Delhi. I read about taj Mahal in my school books and got to know that it was built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaz .i had an opportunity to visit by taj Mahal when my school organizes an educational trip to this place. I was amazed to see the beauty of taj. it is a massive structure made entirely of white marble and this building has a very unique and complex design. it is not beautiful just from the outside but inside also, inside the main chamber one can observe the minute craftsmanship of the craftsmen of those days, I was enthralled to see all these things. there is a big garden around the main building with lush green grass and exotic species of flowers and plants , that further enhance the beauty of this place .taj mahal is situated right at the bank of the river of the Yamuna on around 42 acres of land and bounded by walls on sides. to make the structure , artists, masons, and other workers were recruited from different nations including India , Iran, and turkey. I still remember, when I visited there I clicked many photographs with my friends to preserve the memories of my visit. so this is a great historical place.
